Soft Ballistic Panel for Side Protection. Compatible with WROOM plate carriers. It is inserted into the cummerbund and increases the protection area. During self-installation, the softer side should be placed against the body, and the harder side should face the direction of the attack. The ballistic component is in a vacuum-sealed bag, which increases the service life and mitigates the hydroshock effect in case of wetting.
Regarding the advantages of Level 2 ballistic protection, it is worth noting its ability to withstand a shot from a 7.62x25 mm (TT) pistol, meaning this ballistic protection can hold larger fragments traveling at higher speeds.
