Soft ballistic insert for side protection. Compatible with WROOM plate carriers. Installed into the cummerbund and increases the protected area. When installing independently, place the softer side toward the body and the stiffer side toward the direction of impact. The ballistic component is sealed in a vacuum package, which extends service life and neutralizes the hydroshock effect in case of moisture exposure.
Regarding the advantages of Class 2 ballistic protection, it is worth noting its ability to withstand a 7.62×25 mm (TT) shot, which means this ballistic protection is capable of stopping larger fragments traveling at higher velocities.
